Stim stabilizer

Stim stabilizers were a type of stimulant medical technology that was used to cure frostbite in humans. The device could be used by pressing it to an individual's neck to dispense medication and relieve pain. During the High Republic Era, at least one of the devices was stored in an emergency medpac aboard the Byne Guild transport ship Vessel.

In 232 BBY, the Vessel was damaged during the Great Hyperspace Disaster, requiring the pilot Affie Hollow to hold the ship's extremely cold coaxium regulator in place by hand until it could be hefted back into a firmer position. As soon as the regulator was returned to its place, Jedi Padawan Reath Silas used the Vessel stim stabilizer on Hollow by dispensing the medication on her neck. Within seconds, her blue hands returned to a normal color and several blisters flaked away, leaving the pilot pain-free.
