Summer meadow dress
Canon Linked from 8 articles
The summer meadow dress, also known as the Meadow dress, was owned by Padmé Amidala, Senator of the planet Naboo, as part of her extensive wardrobe. The off-shoulder, golden-colored dress was supported with shoulder straps. Reflecting the culture of the Naboo people, it was made of natural materials and accented with pink hand-sewn roses on the dress itself, its embroidered tulle shawl, and the rose-accented headband worn with it. Pastel-hued ribbons encircled her wrists, and additional ribbon held back the portion of her hair that was not gathered in buns on either side of her head.
When Amidala had to hide in the Lake Country due to ongoing assassination attempts, she was accompanied by the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker for her protection. During the retreat, she wore the dress for a picnic with Skywalker in a meadow.
