T-s5 proton torpedo launcher

The T-s5 proton torpedo launcher was a model of proton torpedo launcher manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems. The forward-mounted M-s3 concussion missile launchers on the TIE/sa bombers manufactured by Sienar for the Galactic Empire could be replaced with T-s5 proton torpedo launchers depending on the mission profile for the craft. The bombers could carry a payload of twelve proton torpedos and had their missile port located at the base of the vehicle's central body beneath its sensor array and between the cockpit pod and ordnance pod. When engaging other craft, TIE/sas were most effective when using missile volleys to make up for their lack of maneuverabilty, blasting apart foes before they could close in.
