Telepath response unit
Canon Legends version → Linked from 1 article
Telepath response units were components built into the cybernetic spider-like bodies of monks of the B'omarr Order, who communicated with each other telepathically. The units were black and sat atop the the monks' bodies. In 4 ABY, at least one of the monks based in Jabba's Palace on the planet Tatooine was equipped with a telepath response unit.
