Trade Federation Factory Turrets were defensive laser cannon emplacements. In use during 32 BBY, they were placed to protect a droid factory on Eos. Although the turrets had limited firing arcs, the Trade Federation placed them strategically near the factory to protect all points. Many were destroyed when the pirate Nym, mercenaries Vana Sage and Reti, and Royal escort pilot Rhys Dallows launched a retaliatory strike on the factory.
