Turbofans were extremely large fans used in vehicle construction. The Infantry Support Platform built by Uulshos Manufacturing and used by the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars was constructed with a large turbofan housed its rear. The fan worked with the vehicle's repulsors to allowed the vehicle to move quickly and smoothly over the battlefield.
