A tythonic resonator was an ancient device used by the Jedi to communicate with other Jedi through the Force. After the Fall of Starlight Beacon, Jedi Master Elzar Mann built a tythonic resonator with the help of Stellan Gios' former droid JJ-5145. Using the Tythonic resonator, Mann was able to communicate with Jedi Master Avar Kriss, who was trapped inside the Nihil Occlusion Zone
