WESTAR-27

The WESTAR-27 was a blaster produced by Concordian Crescent Technologies that was in use during the High Republic Era. One WESTAR-27 was owned by Republic Defense Coalition soldier Joss Adren, who meticulously maintained it. It was the only blaster Adren owned, and he used it during the Battle of Eriadu in 228 BBY. When Adren's apartment was destroyed during the battle, he resolved to use his WESTAR-27 to fire at whatever starship had been responsible for—as far as he was aware—killing his family. However, he had been aiming it at his own ship—the Aurora III—which was being piloted by his wife Pikka Adren, who had survived.
