A type of blaster was utilized by the Nihil member Zagyar during the High Republic Era. The pirate carried it as he and X-10 followed the renegade Nihil Doctor Kisma Uttersond on behalf of Marchion Ro. Uttersond eventually used the blaster to kill Zagyar, and afterward was briefly utilized by the Chadra-Fan Beesar Tal-Apurna to stun Uttersond, though it was proved ineffective against the Tarnab criminal Arathab Fal who knocked the weapon out of the Chadra-Fan's hands.
