A Zopolitan puzzle box was a device that opened by splitting into two halves. When the Sith Lord Count Dooku watched the flat bottom of an experimental transporter vessel produced by the Techno Union split open during an expedition to the Expansion Region planet Diso during the Clone Wars, it reminded him of a Zopolitan puzzle box opening.
