08-Z transport

The 08-Z transport was a model of hovertrain transport manufactured by Marmoth Factories. 08-Zs were used as low-cost transportation for workers to move to and from their job sites. They consisted of two cars, one of which carried the passengers, with seating for up to sixteen individuals, and the other the train operator and control room. The engine and stabilizers were located in the front of the passenger compartment, with a large grille leading air inside to prevent the mechanism from overheating.

One 08-Z transport was used to ferry tibidon sand whale harvesters working on Tatooine's Tibidon Station by 9 BBY, the only amenity provided to them by their employers. Among those using the train daily was Jedi Master in hiding Obi-Wan Kenobi, on one of his many temporary jobs.
