Repulsor pack
Canon Legends version → Linked from 6 articles
Repulsor packs were reliable alternatives to jetpacks. They used small, low-powered repulsorlifts attached to the limbs of their users to propel them. They allowed for controlled descents at any height and had hovering speeds of up to thirty-five kilometers per hour. The repulsor pack's learning curve was steep, and they were sometimes disparagingly called jet pants due to the importance of leg movement in controlling the device. They typically cost 2,500 credits on the market and notable models included the Mitrinomon Transports T-8 Repulsor Pack, and the Astralor Corp. Mk I Personal Repulsorlift System.
