Canon Linked from 2 articles
This stormtrooper transport was used by the Galactic Empire to transport its stormtroopers into battle. It was notably used to despatch troops at Skorii-Lei, when the Empire was looking for Leia Organa. The ship bore similarities to the AAL-1971/9.1 Troop Transport used by the First Order roughly thirty years later.
