Aebal was a Rodian Jedi Master in the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. He was the Jedi Master of the human Jedi youngling Gavi and was stationed at the Jedi temple on the Outer Rim planet Valo. In 230 BBY, the Nihil pirates attacked Valo and Gavi's Master was killed by a Nameless—creatures that fed on Force-sensitives and petrified them—which the youngling witnessed. The event left Gavi's connection to the Force shaken and caused him to become anxious and fearful.
