A male individual was the father of the human historian and Resistance member Beaumont Kin. During the First Order's blockade of the planet Kashyyyk, in 34 ABY, Kin claimed to the Nautolan Resistance pilot Daz Crano that his mother and father told him he was useless, which was why he refused to follow his promising future as an educator and instead joined the Resistance in its war against the First Order.
