An educator was a position the historian Beaumont Kin once sought. However, Kin—who was deemed "useless" by his parents though was to become one of the youngest professors at Lerct Historical Institute after studying at Lerct's Arhul Hextrophon School of Embedded Journalism—abandoned this career route when the Hosnian system was destroyed. Instead, the academic joined the ranks of the Resistance, putting his knowledge to use on the field against the First Order and the Sith.
