Bowman Gavin

Bowman Gavin was a Human male pilot who served in the Rebel Alliance and later the New Republic during the Galactic Civil War.

In 4 ABY, he flew a B-wing during the battle of Endor. The battle was a success when the second Death Star was destroyed, which included the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. In later years, although he had earned an impressive number of Alliance and New Republic combat decorations, the Endor campaign bar was the only which he regularly chose to wear on his uniform.

A dozen years after Endor, Gavin served as the director of flight personnel or "flight boss" for the New Republic Fifth Fleet during the Black Fleet Crisis. In this role, he was responsible for assigning Plat Mallar as a shuttle pilot.
