BV-RJ was a gray-plated 2-1B surgical droid with yellow sensors who was stationed in the Sublight Lounge aboard the Chandrila Star Line's passenger liner Halcyon no earlier than 35 ABY. When the human Finn entered the lounge, BV-RJ introduced itself with human-cyborg libations and offered him a drink while carrying a white towel with an orange stripe on its shoulder. Finn asked what the medical droid would recommend to someone who was ditched by his friends, and BV-RJ at first recommended better friends before pouring Finn a green Yerdua Poison Spitter Drop beverage. As a 2-1B surgical droid, it was manufactured by Industrial Automaton and stood at 1.85 meters (6 ft, 1in).
