In 34 ABY, the master of the C-series astromech droid C9-78 allowed the droid a day to leave Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, where the droid had dwelt for some time without ever leaving the outpost. Hoping to find a companion to travel with, C9-78 called in to the radio show Droid Station Frequency 3-7-6-4-3-7 on station BSO 401.72 and mentioned its master while speaking to the show's host, B6-24.
