Candra was a Rebel Alliance operative. They were assassinated by the former Rebel Alliance sharpshooter Ma'w'shiye—who had deserted—using a gun sometime between 4 ABY and 7 ABY. Ma'w'shiye's assassination of Candra was later noted by the New Republic General Airen Cracken in the traitor's entry of the datafile Wanted by Cracken—the initial version of which was published in 7 ABY.
