Cannon was a clone trooper who was raised on the planet Kamino and served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. At some point during the conflict, Cannon accompanied the Jedi Knight B'ink Utrila, the Padawan Rennax Omani and fellow clones Law, Horns and Glitch on a mission to the planet Draay 2, to find the ancient Sith artifact the Gauntlet of Kressh the Younger and prevent it from falling into the hands of the Sith Lord Count Dooku. The party tracked down the Jedi Temple in which the artifact was housed, but they were attacked there by a band of Death Watch Mandalorians, who sought to seize the Sith relic for themselves.
