CC-9G was a protocol droid who served Supreme Chancellor Leontyne Saresh of the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War with the reconstituted Sith Empire. Around 3638 BBY, CC-9G contacted heroes of the Republic—each aboard their own personal ships—by holocomm, to transmit a priority communication from Saresh. In the call, the Supreme Chancellor requested they travel to the planet Makeb, to help drive the Hutt Cartel off of the world.
CC-9G was a droid with blue-colored sensors, and dark plating.
