Starship

A starship, also known as a starcruiser, spaceship, spacecraft, or simply just craft or ship, was a vessel designed for interstellar travel, specifically between star systems. Starships were distinguished by the inclusion of a hyperdrive, a piece of equipment that made hyperspace travel possible.

All starships had some sort of armored chassis built around the interior to protect it and the crew, as well as some sort of propulsion method such as a Sublight engine or Ion engine. Starships often made use of additional components both internally and externally to add or enhance certain functions such as Capacitors, Sensors, Deflector Shields, and weapon systems like Laser turrets or Missile launchers.
