Chanward's personal bodyguard

The personal bodyguard of Duke Chanward, an aristocrat of the Noble Court of the Anoat sector, was assassinated during the Iron Blockade, an Imperial lockdown of the sector to prevent its occupants from learning of the death of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine during the Empire's crushing defeat at the Battle of Endor. Suspicion for the murder fell on the duke's own staff.

A replacement bodyguard was provided for the duke by the individual known as the Smuggler, an ally of the Noble Court.
