Chen Yao

Chen Yao was the corporate president of Fire, a space station and city of the Aakaash system. Born to great wealth, Chen lacked the ambition and scheming nature of Zhang Jincheng, a general district manager of Fire. President Chen set his eyes on the Blue Dragon pirates after they plundered an important freighter at Fire, causing Zhang to seek to take Chen's place and climb up the space city's hierarchy by eliminating the pirates.

Zhang thus allowed the pirates to take a shipment of enigmatic tenebrae from the Silver Knights, a prominent civil mercenary group in the area, in the hopes of manipulating the Knights into open conflict against the Blue Dragon. However, the Knights' elite red apricot squad was sent to retrieve their lost shipment, and the squad leader, Captain An Ping, realized Zhang's ploy. Red apricot squad's newest member, Sean, therefore proposed to continue with their pursuit of the enigmatic tenebrae and place the blame of recent incidents at Fire on Zhang afterwards, hoping that Chen Yao would become weary of Zhang, making the latter's days miserable.
