D6-L, or Dee-six, was an R-series astromech droid that served the New Republic. Imperial defector Yrica Quell chose the droid for her T-65B X-wing starfighter in Alphabet Squadron. After the failed Mission to Abednedo, D6-L offered to resign, blaming itself when Quell's starfighter failed to perform an impossible maneuver to protect a freighter they were escorting with Imperial prisoners onboard. D6-L was destroyed during Alphabet Squadron's attack on Pandem Nai.
