Dathka Graush

Dathka Graush was a Sith alchemist that lived long before the reign of the Galactic Empire. Scrolls belong to Graush and other Sith, including Naga Sadow and Darth Betrius had been collected and stored at Fortress Vader on the planet Mustafar during the Galactic Civil War, a conflict between the Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

At some point between 1 BBY and 4 ABY, Vaneé, an aide who served Darth Vader at Fortress Vader, used the works of Dathka Graush and the other Sith to build upon a procedure developed by Imperial scientist Harper. Vaneé's version involved implanting parts of a droid brain into an organic being forcing them become an obedient spy for the Empire.
