Fil, designated 2720, was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. As a male clone of bounty hunter Jango Fett, 2720 was born on the planet Kamino, had tan skin, and stood at 1.83 meters tall. 2720 was acquainted with fellow troopers 1137 and 1139. When 1139 wanted a name rather than being referred to by a designation number, 1139 came up with the names "Fil" and "Byl." 1137 then stated that those names were already taken by the troopers who they knew as 2720 and 0037 last week.
