Flinn was a Human male who served as a young recruit in the Coruscant Naval Academy during the Empire's rise for power. After attending the academy, he, along with fellow cadet Kestrel, were selected to monitor a new talented recruit named Lune Oddo Divinian. In a flight simulator, Flinn and Kestrel fought against Lune and Trever Flume until they were easily defeated.
