Fossil, known as "the Old Lady" by the bomber crews of the Resistance, was a female Martigrade who served as the commanding officer of the Resistance's StarFortress unit that included Cobalt and Crimson Squadron. Following the evacuation of D'Qar, she was aboard the Raddus as surplus crew and experienced sorrow at the Resistance's losses. Sometime later she gave Rose Tico a Resistance ring.
