G1-G1

G1-G1, also known as Gee-One-Gee-One, was a garden droid astromech who served the Barsha family at their compound on the moon Gus Treta under the supervision of the droid A1-A1. At the early Imperial Era, G1-G1 was many decades old and considered an older model. It and had arms sticking out of it's dome and carried various gardening tools. In 19 BBY, G1-G1 was temporarily repurposed to serve as a server for guests at a party held by Roisem Barsha at the Barsha compound on Gus Treta after the Barsha family's pardon. At some point during the party, it was serving guests refreshments on a tray in the surrounding gardens, when it noticed the body of the guest Zeev Oversam which he approached to check if he wanted a refill of his drink. When the astromech noticed that Oversam had been killed, it tried notify security at a nearby terminal, but noticed Oversam's murderer, the BX-series droid commando ND-5, who had been sent to kill everyone present. Nine seconds after it approached him, the commando droid punched a deep hole through G1-G1's chest and twisted out one of it's legs, leading to it being immobilized and only speaking random distorted sounds. Thanks to it's maintenance beacon, Oversam and G1-G1 were soon after found by Jaylen Barsha and A1-A1 who investigated the deaths. A1-A1 used an interface cable to access the droid's data. Although G1-G1 was unable to identify ND-5's model and had no functioning audio or visual log it could describe the commando droid's height and jacket, which was enough for Barsha to recognize him.
