Garan was a female Zabrak who served the Black Sun criminal organization during the early years of the Galactic Empire. In 18 BBY, the Jedi Knight Jax Pavan ventured to the Oyu'baat tapcafe on the planet Mandalore to meet with the Arkanian Black Sun lieutenant Tyno Fabris. Just as Pavan was introduced to Fabris, Garan scanned the Jedi with a weapons sensor and declared that he was unarmed.
