Hackrack Bep

Hackrack Bep was a Theelin male who served as the Vice President of the planet Dalna during the High Republic Era. Bep had a husband, Zian, and son, Theo. In 230 BBY, a Tempest of the Nihil pirates who had been menacing the Outer Rim Territories kidnapped Theo and held him hostage in order to prevent Bep and the Dalnan government from taking action against their activities on Dalna.

Shortly after the abduction, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh and her Padawan, Imri Cantaros, arrived on Dalna investigating potential Nihil activity, and rescued Theo with the help of Jedi stationed at the Temple on Dalna. When it became clear that the Nihil activity threatened the entire population of the geologically unstable planet, Bep traveled with Cantaros to the Starlight Beacon space station to ask for help. Onboard Starlight, Bep was attacked by the traitorous Galactic Republic Senator Ghirra Starros and her accomplices, with Cantaros discovering the injured politician in the aftermath.
