Ice gators were large light-blue lizards native to the planet of Dalna. They were the size of landspeeders and had sharp teeth and claws. They lived on polar ice caps and moved to warmer places during summer. In 230 BBY, Jedi Knights Vernestra Rwoh, Lyssa Votz, and Yacek Sparkburn attacked a group of ice gators who were clawing at metal in an attempt to attack the son of the Vice President Hackrack Bep.
Wild Wollina's Animal Adventures had an ice gator exhibit.
An entry on ice gators was included in "Species From A to Z," a survival compendium sent out by Carson Teva during the New Republic Era.
