Hiro was a Hutt male who was the son of the crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure and first cousin of crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. He hosted "The Hutt Hour," a talk show played on radio station BSO 401.72 in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu during the war between the First Order and the Resistance.
By that time, many residents on Batuu believed a rumor that Hiro was the reason that Kowakian monkey-lizards were banned from Oga's Cantina, including the Batuuan Ylena.
