Jird Loomis

Jird Loomis was a humanoid bounty hunter who was killed by the Master Assassin Fennec Shand while he was tracking her on the desert planet Tatooine in 9 ABY. Shand then used Loomis's corpse as bait for other hunters, leaving it dragging behind the pearled dewback he had been riding in the Dune Sea. The bounty hunters Din Djarin and Toro Calican fell for the trap while also hunting Shand. When Djarin investigated Loomis's body, Shand opened fire on him, although unlike Loomis, he survived, thanks to his Mandalorian armor made of beskar.
