Jmmaar was a ten-legged, crablike Jedi Master from the planet Vvaw. A member of the Jedi Order, guardians of the Galactic Republic, Jmmaar was slain by the Separatist General Grievous, who won the Jedi's green-bladed weapon and added it to his collection of lightsabers at some point prior to his own death at the Battle of Utapau in 19 BBY.
