General

General was a senior rank in various armies, including the Imperial Army, the Grand Army of the Republic, the Separatist Droid Army, the Alliance Army, the Resistance Army, and the First Order Army. Generals were part of an army's hierarchy, as opposed to admirals, who had a high role in a navy. While some nations in the Unknown Regions used the rank of general, others used the equivalent title of "generalirius." Abediah Viess led a mercenary army of warrior-kin as a general. The Unbroken Clan syndicate also made use of the rank, as did the Troik tribe of the planet At Achrann.
