Josiah

Josiah was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era who served as a Jedi counselor and helped ensure other Jedi remained balanced after traumatic experiences. After the Nihil pirates attacked the Republic Fair on the Outer Rim planet Valo in 231 BBY, the Mirialan Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh spoke with Josiah, and they told her that remembering was part of how one dealt with the pain and trauma of a disaster. Rwoh, however, felt that she did not want to remember the event as much.

When she saw three Nihil prisoners aboard the space station Starlight Beacon a few weeks later that year, the Mirialan remembered the trauma experienced by those hurt in the Valo attack and wished for vengeance against the pirate organization. However, she then thought back to what Josiah had told her.
