Kardan

Kardan was a human male who served as a general in the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Not long after the destruction of the planet Alderaan, Kardan was present aboard the Halcyon and purchased what he believed was the Crown Jewels of Alderaan from the pirate Maz Kanata for 80,000 Imperial credits, though in reality they were just gemstones from the planet. The sale, however, was part of a heist Kanata planned with the smuggler Lando Calrissian and the pirate Hondo Ohnaka to recover items from the general's collection including a box from Kashyyyk. After learning of Ohnaka's presence on the ship, Kardan sent stormtroopers to find him.
