The father of Galactic Alliance General Keyan Farlander lived with his partner, son and daughter Kitha on the family's mugruebe ranch in the town of Tondatha on Agamar in the Lahara sector during the Imperial period. He was killed along with his family when Tondatha was destroyed by the Galactic Empire in retaliation for alleged sedition by its residents. Due to an errand for which he had sent his son to Calna Muun, Keyan Farlander avoided his family's fate, going on to join the Agamar Resistance and later, the Rebel Alliance.
