Kirs was a Human male researcher who worked for the Lerct Historical Institute. In 21 ABY, Kirs participated in an expedition on Yoturba. During the expedition, his fellow researcher Mico Haswell being possessed by a Kyber crystal and later attacked Kirs with the Dark side of the Force. He was hurt but survived the happening.
