Mal Hyb was a Human employed by crime lord Jabba the Hutt as an assistant to the mechanic Barada. In 4 ABY, she worked on Jabba's sail barge with Barada in the hanger of Jabba's Palace. When the Klatooinian said they would perform another check on the vehicle after their break, Hyb was disappointed and walked away from him.
