Meggal

Meggal was a captain in service to the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era. In 232 BBY, the captain commanded a Longbeam cruiser during efforts to rescue victims of the Great Hyperspace Disaster and subsequent hyperspace debris Emergences, working in a team with the technicians Joss and Pikka Adren in the the Longbeam cruiser Aurora III and the Jedi Te'Ami and Mikkel Sutmani in their Jedi Vectors.

During the 40th Emergence, the team was attacked by the Nihil cruiser Lourna Dee while attempting to retrieve the flight recorder of the destroyed freighter Legacy Run. In the fighting, Te'Ami's Vector and a Longbeam flown by the pilots Marcus Augur and Beth Petters were destroyed. Meggal went after the flight recorder, successfully retrieving it while the Adrens and Sutmani attacked the Lourna Dee, forcing its commander, the Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee, to retreat.
