The Monster-Slayer was a Sith who, according to legend, engaged the Sith known as the Dreamer in a lightsaber duel at the Pits of Paxxis around 3400 BBY. Both Sith ultimately died due to the vapors of the Pits. Millennia later, the Jedi Luke Skywalker annotated an illustration of the confrontation between the Monster-Slayer and the Dreamer that had come into his possession.
