Naima was a native of the planet Bellassa who was a member of the Eleven resistance group. Around 18 BBY, while Naima and fellow resistance member Terris were piloting V-wing starfighters, they encountered an Imperial starship above Bellassa. The Sith Lord Darth Vader ordered the starship to fire on them, and both Naima and Terris were killed. Later, Doctor Amie Antin told resistance members Roan Lands and Dona Telamark of Naima's passing.
