Numoda

Numoda was a Force-sensitive individual who served as a Jedi master of the Jedi clan led by Jedi lord Hanrai. Numoda was sent by Hanrai to the Engai system to root out smugglers. The apprentices of the clan later heard there was a complication, and then heard nothing else, with the clan's other masters refusing to speak about Numoda's status. The apprentice Yuehiro came to believe Numoda was dead, although his bones were not returned to the clan's shrine as they should have been.

Weeks after Numoda was sent to the Engai system, Yuehiro snuck into Hanrai's library in his home estate on the astronomical object Watoru to read records about a Sith witch rumored to have been resurrecting the dead and causing battlefields to leave no bodies. When Yuehiro was caught and brought to Hanrai, he told the lord of his belief that Numoda had died and explained that he hoped to find information about the missing bodies of Numoda and other Jedi.
