Jedi master (Empire)

Jedi master was a title that could be held by Jedi of the Jedi clans. They were responsible for training Jedi apprentices. During the youth of the Jedi who would later be known as the Ronin, it was fashionable for Jedi masters to train their most promising apprentices to manage a battlefield by teaching them the board game shogi. Jedi masters had the ability to deem Jedi worthy of carrying a lightsaber and promote them to the rank of Jedi knight.
