Ort was a Reesarian who was a member of the Path of the Open Hand cult. In 382 BBY, she joined a mission led by prospector Radicaz Dobbs alongside other Path members to the fabled Planet X to retrieve eggs of the Nameless species aboard the Scupper. After the pilot of the Bonecrusher, another ship on the mission, was killed by an Under-Dweller while retrieving the eggs, Path member Tareen decided to bring a repulsorlift of the eggs to the Bonecrusher and fly the ship back himself, Ort going along with him for support. However, the Bonecrusher disappeared after it jumped to hyperspace while trying to escape the planet and the Veil that surrounded it.
