OWO-1 was an OOM command battle droid stationed aboard the Saak'ak in 32 BBY during the Invasion of Naboo. OWO-1 was sent by Viceroy of the Trade Federation Nute Gunray to make certain that Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, had been killed by a dose of deadly dioxis gas. Going with a squad of OOM-series security droids, the droid commander went to the gas-filled room and saw that the gas had not functioned properly. Moments later, the droid and its squad were destroyed by the Jedi.
